Assam Rifles

To mark its 175 years, the Assam Rifles asked KaleidoIndia to produce a short film on the organisation along with a book. Tracing the paramilitary force’s history since 1835 allowed for filming in some of the remotest corners of the Indo-Myanmar border in Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. Most of these areas are otherwise virtual blanks on the map. The film was screened in a special audience for Her Excellency, the President of India, while it was also telecast on various channels.
