Military World Games, Hyderabad

Considered to be a dress rehearsal for the Olympics, the Military World Games were held in Hyderabad in October 2007. Apart from the Brussels-based CISM wanting a short film on the event, it was also decided to produce a book on the event. Both these tasks were entrusted to KaleidoIndia. Canon India suggested the use of digital cameras for the event, and though sports photography is a highly specialized area, the multi-event was covered extremely effectively. The 240-page book, exploding with action-packed photographs, displaced the official CISM book as the official book of the games. 2,000 copies were distributed worldwide to all athletes and officials who represented the 102 countries that took part. The book was hailed as a masterpiece.
